ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) memetakan distribusi spasial habitat bentik di sebagian perairan Taman Nasional Karimunjawa 2) membandingkan akurasi pemetaan habitat bentik dengan dan tanpa menggunakan koreksi kolom air 3) mengkaji faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap nilai koefisien kelemahan kolom air dengan menggunakan data penginderaan resolusi spasial tinggi. Koreksi kolom air banyak digunakan dalam proses pembuatan peta habitat bentik karena dinilai mampu mengurangi efek perbedaan kedalaman sehingga meningkatkan akurasi, namun perbedaan hasil akurasi pemetaan habitat bentik antara menggunakan koreksi kolom air ataupun tidak belum diketahui secara pasti, sehingga perlu diketahui efektifitas penggunaan koreksi kolom air untuk meningkatkan akurasi dalam pembuatan peta habitat bentik. Pengaruh koreksi kolom air terhadap akurasi pemetaan habitat bentik diketahui dengan cara membandingkan confusion matrix antara hasil klasifikasi terkoreksi kolom air maupun yang tidak terkoreksi kolom air. Sebelum tahapan tersebut dilakukan terlebih dahulu citra Pleiades harus melalui beberapa tahapan koreksi radiometrik yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap, klasifikasi citra menggunakan metode maximum likelihood dengan sampel hasil survei lapangan, selanjutnya dilakukan uji akurasi. Hasilnya berupa peta habitat bentik sebelum dan sesudah koreksi kolom air pada level skema major dan detail. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai overall accuracy hasil klasifikasi citra terkoreksi kolom air memiliki tingkat akurasi pada level detail dan major sebesar 76,53% dan sebesar 58,16%. Koreksi kolom air dapat meningkatkan nilai akurasi sebesar 3,07% pada kelas major, sedangkan pada kelas detail 5,1%.

ABSTRACT
The aims of this research are 1) to map benthic habitat in parts of Karimunjawa Islands using high spatial remote sensing data, 2) to compare the accuracy of benthic habitats mapping with and without the application of water column correction and 3) assess factors affecting the value of water column attenuation coefficient by using high spatial remote sensing data. Water colomn correction is widely used in the manufacturing process of benthic habitat maps because it is considered capable of reducing the effects of different depth so that increasing the accuracy, but the difference between benthic habitat mapping accuracy results with and without correction of the water column not yet known certainly, so need to known the effectiveness of using the water column correction to improve the accuracy in the benthic habitat maps manufacturing. The influence of the water column correction toward accuracy of mapping the benthic habitat is determined by comparing the accuracy value of confussion matrix result on the calssification results with and without correction of the water column. Before the stage is done, firstly Pleiades image must go through several stages of radiometric correction that consists of several stage, Image classification used maximum likelihood method with the sample results of field surveys. The next step was accuracy test. The result is a benthic habitat maps with and without correction of the water column at the level of the major schemes and detail . The results show that the value of overall accuracy results image classification of water colomn correction of accuracy at the detail and major level at 76.53% and 58.16%. Water colomn correction can increase the accuracy value at 3,07% in major class while 5,1% in detail class.
